Aviation Training Activity has started in Egypt since more than 75 years .
Misr Flying Institute has been established in 1932 as the first aviation
training Inst. in Africa and Middle East. MFI had belonged to Egypt air till
1971 .
Aviation Training Centre was established in 1961 to answer the training
needs in different fields of civil aviation such as Air Traffic Controllers
, technicians and engineers .
In 1971 National Civil Aviation Training Organization was established to
supervise and organize all aviation training activities including MFI and
Aviation Training Center .

Due to the expansion of aviation training
needs to provide civil aviation entities
with young graduates, specialized institutes
and colleges were established in NCATO to
have 4 institutes .
